Egypt; officially The Arab Republic of Egypt (MASR in Arabic) is a North African Arabian country. It is bordered to the north by The Mediterranean Sea, to the south by Sudan, to the east by both Palestine and the Red sea and to the west By Libya.

Across the Mediterranean Sea to the west lie Italy, Cyprus & Greece. The territory of Egypt covers One million km² and the climate is temperate seasonally. Its population is about 85 millions. Egypt is a united democratic parliamentary republic. The capital and the largest city is Cairo. Formerly, Egypt had been a member of the United Nations.

The Egyptians, culturally related to the Arab Nation; having many similarities with the Arabs; having many similarities with Arab.

 

FAMOUS CITIES

 

Cairo

 

Cairo is the capital city of Egypt and a major commercial and cultural center. It is the largest city in the Arab Nations, situated in the bifurcation of the NILE River. Cairo can be seen from the top of Cairo tower,in the heart of Cairo city the Old Town.

Alexandria

 

It is the second capital of Egypt and it is only 280 kilometers far from Cairo; the capital. It's also where the Bibliotheca Alexandrina lies. 
Moreover, it's the home city of CAWC idea & where the Headquarters of OMA "Oyoun Masr Association" is. 
It's the home city of Alexandar, the Great, Cleopatra VII, Ahmed Ramzy, Queen Farida, Sayyid Darwish, Hend Rustum, Omar El-Sherif, Mohammed El-Fayed and Youssef Chahine.

 

Siwa

 

The marvelous Natural oasis where water springs stroke the desert's sand and the city where Alexander the Great was nominated as the son of Amoun! If you want to relax in the Bedouin atmosphere and forget all about life and its problems, Siwa will be the best choice for you!

Hurghada

 

Windsurfing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, swimming, and above all, snorkeling and diving! That's what you do in that beautiful city; the unique underwater gardens offshore are some of the finest in the world, justifiably famous amongst divers. The warm waters there are ideal for many varieties of rare and unique fish and coral reefs, which may also be observed through glass bottom boats.

Aswan

 

Where the High Dam lies; The Egyptian Miracle, Where you can find The NILE's waterfalls and enjoy the purity and the amazing nature of the great Nile. Aswan is the ancient city of Swenet, which was the frontier town of Ancient Egypt facing the south. Swenet is supposed to have derived its name from an Egyptian goddess with the same name. This goddess later was identified as Eileithyia by the Greeks and Lucina by the Romans during their occupation of Ancient Egypt because of the similar association of their goddesses with childbirth, and of which the import is "the opener". The ancient name of the city also is said to be derived from the Egyptian symbol for trade.

El-Menoufeia

 

The governorate is famous for the production of crops like cotton, maize and wheat as well as vegetable crops such as potatoes and green beans from which a large part is exported. Agricultural lands obtain water needs from Rosetta and Damietta branches of the Nile. Agriculture is generally the population's main activity due to Monoufeia's fertile agricultural land. Monoufeia governorate is known particularly for being the birthplace of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat.

Kafr El-Sheikh

 

Kafr el-Sheikh is the home to various factories including a rice mill factory, a poultry forage factory and a sugar beet factory.Also it is  the home city of Osama Anwar Okasha, Saad Zaghloul and Ahmad Zewail.

Sohag

 

The city Sohag encloses only a few archaeological sites, hence tourism represents but a small portion of the city's income. Other sources of income include trade, small carpets, furniture, spinning and weaving and sugar industries. Administrative and educational services are two big sectors of income as a small university employs a majority of the residents. It's the home city of Pharaoh Narmer, Sheikh Mohamed Seddik El-Menshawi, Rifa'a El-Tahtawi, Nadia Lutfi, George Sidhom, Emad Hamdy and Naguib Sawiris.

El-Minya

 

Minya Governorate is an important agricultural and industrial region. Among its principal crops are sugar-cane, cotton, beans, soya beans, garlic, onions, and various sorts of vegetables, tomatoes, potatoes, watermelons, and grapes. Among leading local industries are food processing (especially sugar and the drying and grinding of onions), spinning and weaving of cotton, perfumes, oils and fats, cement-making, quarrying (especially limestone), and brick-making; It's the home city of Pharoah Akhnaton, Khufu, Abd El-Hakim Amer, Hakim, Hoda Sha'rawy, Taha Hussein and Sana Gamil.
